Where Grads Work

For the 2016-2017 academic year, ninety-four percent of domestic graduates were employed and most found their positions through Career Services at the School of Labor & Employment Relations.

Graduates work in all aspects of human resources at companies around the world. In addition to the salaries reported below, most companies pay relocation expenses, some offer stock options immediately, and if you convert your internship to full-time employment, some companies will adjust your start date to reflect your intern work. Full-Time Employment

For full-time entry-level hires, the average private sector salary was $78,136 with a range of $43,800 – $105,000. Signing bonuses averaged $7,451 ranging between $1,000 – $15,000. Ninety-two percent of graduates found their positions through LER Career Services.

Interns received an average salary of $5,397 per month (private sector), with a range of $3,200-$7,280 per month. Ninety-nine percent of eligible domestic LER students were placed in internships and 43% of graduating domestic LER students accepted a full-time position with the company at which they interned the previous summer.
